of you may have seen and remember Tererai Trent who spoke at the 2007
CEW Mullin Welch Lecture with Jo Luck from the Heifer Project. She
talked movingly about growing up impoverished in northern Zimbabwe and
of her dreams of getting an education. It took years, but she made it.

Of all the people earning university degrees this year, perhaps the most remarkable story belongs a one-time impoverished cattle-herd from Zimbabwe.
