Ann Magnuson saw Leon Russell in Pioneertown (near Joshua Tree) this weekend. Took some photos too. He was wonderful. Always a joy to see a legend live in person (and in a smallish venue)!
Ann Magnuson After having just seen "This Is It" (which is really quite amazing) I yearned to see this performance again. (Someone told me MJ secretly worked with Bob Fosse for his moves. Hardly suprising.) Say what you will but he was an incredible entertainer. RIP MJ.

A flight through the fractal world of colorful fantasy. Produced with Adobe After Effects. Music from a royalty free collection I bought years ago by a company called Solectro. It's from their Sonic Vistas #1 disc, a cut titled "Clear".

Ann Magnuson is loving the crazy wind here in Los Angeles as it is bringing back fond memories of blustery east coast Halloweens in my past (my favorite holiday). Curious as to what everyone is going to dress up as. (Since I have to do it professionally so much I opt out on Oct. 31st). Egyptian Theatre this Saturday at 9:30 PM as part of the 2009 ARPA International Film Festival. It's a wacky farce about a group of Russians trying to make a movie in L..A. I play the wife of the main character, Boris, a successful businessman who i...s trying to win back her love by producing a movie about her favorite composer Tchaikovsky- with the help of a porn director and a mad Soviet style novelist. Hilarity ensues. (We hope.)

Ann Magnuson is back home in L.A. after a spectacular experience in Memphis acting in Brian Pera's "Woman's Picture". Stay tuned....photos to follow.
Ann Magnuson is currently in Memphis TN where she will be for two weeks shooting an indie movie called "Woman's Picture" directed by Brian Pera (who made an amazing first feature called "The Way I See Things".)
Ann Magnuson had a great time shooting her cameo for Gregg Araki's new movie "Kaboom!" Played a rich Beverly Hills type who has weekly trysts with her hunky young gigolo, "Thor" - played by hunky young actor Chris Zylka. "Kaboom!" is one WACKED OUT movie. Araki fans will not be disappointed!
