Birds do it, bees do it, even pollinating plants do it.

Ann Magnuson really misses daylight savings time.

Ann Magnuson thanks her sometime guitarist Jonathan Lea for alerting her to this animal rock star calender. Yes, that is a guinea pig. I wonder if Mr. Bowie has seen this?

Ann Magnuson once again bows down before the awesome power and mystery of Creation.

If bossing people around makes you a director then call this typical Capricorn gal Lina Wertmuller. Or, better yet, Andrei Tarkovsky who I was obsessed with at the time we made "Time Traveling Hooker: Room 8". (Which partially explains the extra long takes.)

Ann Magnuson You can see my little film "Time Traveling Hooker: Room 8" via this link (or come to the Downtown Independent on Saturday night when The Masses present "The Work of 2009".

Ann Magnuson I will be performing a new spoken word piece with Dublab Saturday night as well as showing the film "Time Travelling Hooker: Room 8" (which was part of the installation I did for Andrea Zittell's High.Desert.Test.Site. event this spring). In the film (which Matt Amato so graciously credited me as director) the TTH pops... out of another wormhole in search of love and redemption. Will she find it in the arms of Gram Parsons' Ghost?
