Mustafa Center *** EID UL ADHA *** will be on Friday, November 27, 2009 inshaAllah.
Eid prayers will be offered at the Mustafa Center at 8am, 9am, 10am, and 11am.

In order for this to be a pleasant Eid experience for everyone, try to attend the earlier prayers to avoid large crowds and parking issues. Also, please carpool.
Please park y...our cars ONLY at the Mustafa Center's parking lot and BEHIND the shopping center (which is also behind the mosque). NO parking is allowed inside the shopping center or at the church across the street. They WILL tow your cars.

As for Jum'ah (Friday) prayer; according to the Hanafi, Maliki, and Shafi'i opinions, one must still attend the Jumah prayer.
According to the Hambali opinion, Jum'ah is not obligatory when Eid falls on the same day.
Still, the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) told people who lived too far from the masjids that it was okay for them to not go for Jum'ah prayer after the Eid prayer since it may have been difficult for them to stay long at the masjid or to go home and then go all the way back to the masjid.

Juma'h prayers will still be held at the Mustafa Center at 12:30pm and then again at 1:30pm. Both khutbahs (sermons) will be in Farsi and in English.

FYI, it is sunnah on Eid to take a shower before the prayer and wear new clothes and perfume.

And it is ALWAYS sunnah to smile so please don't forget your smiles on Eid :)

Please remember those people in your prayers who are not able to spend time with a loved one because their loved one passed away or is ill.
