Systems Engineering at the US Naval Academy In a stunning upset, Felps, Fick, and Kinkade WIN the Robot League Semantic Robot Vision Challenge! They were going up against teams with more sophisticated equipment and processing algorithms, but our careful preparation (we were testing an integrated system 3 weeks ago) paid off.

Systems Engineering at the US Naval Academy Update from Vegas! We identified two objects during the robot phase of the Semantic Robot Vision Challenge. The robot stalled out after a few minutes, but not before it capture a few good pictures. We'll find out later how many points we got; we think one of our images might garner 2-3 points. We're looking forward to... the Software phase. A big thank you to everyone who helped us get here!
