Anoushka Shankar haha I love the dance invites guys! Rodrigo maybe you'll see me at one of the tube stops! Sangeet, sorry I won't be dancing at Sadler's Wells, I'll leave that to the pros. Right now I'm neck-deep in final touches to the music for the show, and figuring out final details! Also, on a separate note, I'm feeling better everyone, thank you so much. Sorry I missed the Santa Barbara show.

Anoushka & Joshua perform the track titled "Variant Moods - Duet For Sitar & Violin, which is a piece that was written by Anoushka's father, Ravi Shankar, specifically for them.

Anoushka Shankar Hey some quick responses before I go to bed: Priyanka, I'm holding out on Twitter! I barely check myspace, and find F/b useful for staying in touch with friends, colleagues and fellow artists/ music-lovers, but I find myself resisting the idea of yet another page of stuff! I prefer the time sitting outside on the grass! Maybe at some point I'll change my mind, but for now, Twitter is uncharted territory!
Anoushka Shankar Part 2: I threw everything out that I'd worked on last week and started over with a fresh idea for the section I'm doing with the two dancers and it's thirty minutes of music that needs to be finished before the Bowl rehearsals start. In the middle of all that are tons of little things. But hello, I'm happy, life's good and I love hearing from you all, so thank you very much!

Part 1: Sorry guys! You're right I've been busy! It's insane crunch time right now. On Sunday we begin the full rehearsals with 13 musicians for my dad's part of the Hollywood Bowl show that I'm conducting. I'm trying to figure out what I'm playing in my set with the Anoushka Shankar Project so the lighting guys can do... their job.
