Women Nationally Active for Christ has accepted the resignation of Executive Secretary-Treasurer Danita High effective December 31, 2009. The Highs believe God is directing them to northwest Arkansas to take over a family business and pursue pastoral ministry opportunities there. Danita feels the change will enable her to fulfill her primary responsibilities as a mother in their home. We commend Danita for her outstanding work serving our women.
Women Nationally Active for Christ We extend sympathy to the family of Yvonne Hampton, longtime WNAC executive assistant, who entered Heaven, October 20, 2009. She is now cancer-free and rejoicing in the presence of the Savior.

Women Nationally Active for Christ announces the arrival of Garyn High, October 7, 2009. Garyn, newborn son of WNAC Executive Secretary-Treasurer Danita HIgh and her husband John, weighed 6 lbs. and measured 19 1/2 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well.

Following a year-long emphasis on "Taught by the Bible, Led by the Spirit," the 74th WNAC Convention convened July 20-21 in Cincinnati, OH, for two days of spirited gatherings.

WNAC returns this fall to Branson, Missouri, for its 2009 National Retreat, but everything is new.
New Location: The Branson Hilton Convention Center
Hotel, near the Branson Landing on Table Rock Lake, offers a host of shopping and restaurant options within walking distance.
New Format: Three main sessions plus one smal...l group break-out session afford more interaction. A Friday-Saturday only format allows more women opportunity to attend.
New Pricing: An all-inclusive package price makes this year's event more affordable. Package includes all retreat and registration fees, Friday night lodging and Saturday morning breakfast at the Hilton.
4 per room—$89 each
3 per room—$99 each
2 per room—$122 each
Plus all WNAC members receive a special $10 discount off the package price.Read More
