AULA hosts 2 different kinds of "uprisings" on campus...
The Literary Uprising is a quarterly event that features three creative writers from the AULA community. Each quarter a BA student, and MFA student and a faculty member read from their latest literary works at this free public event.
The Artistic Uprising is an an...nual event held in November/December of each year. During the Artistic Uprising the halls of AULA are transformed into a mixed-media gallery featuring work from our students, staff, faculty, and alumni.

As part of our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) initiative with the South Central Farmers, the Student Action Network and the B.A. program are proud to sponsor the CSA Cook-Off Competition and Food Demo.
What Is The Cook-Off?
It is a competition to see who can make the best dish using their weekly box of fruits and ...vegetables.
How Do I Participate?
Students, faculty, staff and friends, come in and judge the contestants’ entries from 5-6:30 p.m.
What Is The Food Demo?
The SOL Catering Cooperative (members from the South Central Farmers Coalition) will share some fun and easy recipes using CSA box
ingredients. Come by at 5:30, 6:00, or 6:30 to see the recipe demonstration and taste samples!
