
Gene Chieffo I thoroughly enjoyed Salome last night. The orchestra sounded fantastic; strings soared, the brass - wow. Compliments to Neal for his oboe solos in the Dance ... contra bassoon, woodwinds!!! It was intense, for sure ... the immediate applause after they 'done in' Salome broke the spell - for me!
