The findings, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, came as a surprise as rooks do not use tools in the wild.

Ark Wildlife Limited Big Batty Walks 2009

The WWT London Wetland Centre is an excellent site for bat watching, with eight species recorded on the reserve. Our bat walks consist of a talk by one of our bat experts before heading out to the reserve, complete with bat detector, to see and hear which species are swooping around. This is a fun w...ildlife-watching experience for just £10.

The next two walks are tonight - 21 May, and next Thursday, 28 May. More bat walks to follow July - September.

Times vary with sunset. If you're interested, visit our website http://www.wwt.org.uk/events/175/london_events.html or call 020 8409 4400
