Dara Reinbold hails from the land of sewing circles and amber waves of grain. Growing up in rural South Dakota she learned that scraps of fabric could become quilts and corn husks transformed into dolls. Now living in Memphis and armed with 20+ years of sewing experienc...e and a BA in Art from Minnesota State-Moorhead, she continues in that pioneer spirit…with socks. Using socks new and used, buttons, and a kicky sense of whimsy, she creates Soc Creatures. Each creature is a tip to toe original and comes complete with a name from her beloved home state.
