You are invited to join us Final Friday to celebrate Stephanie Ward, 2009's ARC Robbie Carlstedt Young Achiever of the Year and her wonderful artwork. Stephanie, a current student with Monart School of Art, here in Wichita, has also won the "Award of Excellence" from the Volkswagon of America art contest and her winni...ng piece "Geisha" is currently on display in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.
Simply stated by Stephanie, "When I am creating each piece, I get lost in a world that I am creating never knowing where it is destined until I have completed it. My art gives me alot of confidence and something that I can feel successful at. I like trying new things so I am not afraid of starting something different. I feel equal to others with my art."
