Disabled Ping-Pong Player Claims Paralympics Bias : NPR

Norm Bass, a 69-year-old table-tennis player, has rheumatoid arthritis. He says he's been banned from the Paralympics because of his age. Bass has the points to qualify for the games and he's competed previously in the Paralympics.

Hi my name is Hallen and I suffer from arthritis in my neck hands hips and legs and I am in horrible pain because of it so much that I have to be in a wheel chair is there any relive for me so I can get up and walk again. Also I am 66 years old now.

This is just a reminder about our World Arthitis Day survey. Please fill in the survey online http://www.worldarthritisday.org/survey.php to tell us about your emotional challenges and what more could be done to support people with arthritis/rheumatism.

It is not an advert but actually a plea for better collaboration and better understanding. I represent the European League against Rheumatism and hope that I will benefit this group and you guys as much as you cluld do to help us, because we do have the same goals.
