In observance of the American Library Association’s Banned Book Week, Cook Library Presents the exhibit “You Make the Call”
Would you vote to ban the Harry Potter book series from public school libraries because it promotes the Wicca religion?
Do you think it’s ok for a college student employee to read a book with contr...oversial cover art in a public work area?
Come to Cook Library’s “You Make the Call” exhibit to learn about recent book banning controversies. Then vote on what you would do in those situations. While a book’s pages may be black and white, issues of book banning never are. So it’s up to you to make the call…
Time:12:00PM Thursday, October 1st
Location:Cook Library Lobby
