In the last quarter, the Arts of Collin County has received an infusion of $1M in gifts towards the BRAVO! Capital campaign igniting the Arts of Collin County to prepare for ground breaking. It is estimated only $8M more is needed to reach the fundraising goals for 2009 and provide a foundation for the construction to... proceed.
The following have contributed recently to invigorate the BRAVO! Capital campaign:

Anonymous $50,000
Baylor Medical Center of Frisco and Plano $50,000
Centennial Medical Center $25,000
Texas Health Resources – Plano $25,000
Marian and James Lokey $25,000
Soon to be announced, a single gift of $425,000
Several gifts of all denominations exceeding $100,000
Additional gifts announced in late August include:
$100,000 – Market Street
$100,000 – Oncor
$ 50,000 – Strasburger & Price LLP

Arts of Collin County Get ready for some major donation announcements at tonight's Arts of Collin County event!

Another good week for donations with a two major companies donating $50,000 and lots of people buying bricks and pavers. We are also announcing in our next e-newsletter the details for a way to buy seats in the performing arts hall that will have your name on the seat. As with all arts halls, this will not mean that ...this will be your seat for all performances, but your name will be on the seat for a ten year period. Details will be announced soon.

Mary Vail Grube Today we received a donation from Gawya Ramswamy, Artistic Director of Sampradaya Performing Arts, a school of traditional Indian dance located in Allen. Mike Simpson Thanks to everyone for their continued support. Each day we get donatrions from our grass roots program of getting ALL citizens involved. We received checks for $200 up to $ 5,000 in the past few days from people wanting to help us get to groundbreaking and our "Pave the Way to the Arts" project is generating many donations for bricks or pavers.
