Asheville School After Chapel, students and faculty took the time to meet and greet everyone. Also, many people had their first "Asheville School Banana" today!

    • Walter Triplette when i was at asheville in 1965 i was under the impression that the banana was a cuban cultural dish brought to the school by don pedro capote and his daughter, senorita corina maria rodriguez capote. recently i heard that it dates from the 1920's. can anyone from the 1950's verify that the banana was a tradition earlier than the time of the capotes?

Fears of fumbles spilling across the turf keep a lot of football coaches from invoking the get the ball rolling cliché. Asheville School's Matt Neville doesn't necessarily need to verbalize it after the strides his program made in 2009.
