Casey Mullarkey I was wondering why the galleries on your website are not up dated?

Academy for Global Exploration Great Johnny glad to hear it. Sorry, no work out facilities just skiing over the head powder every day. See the comments below for informatoin about the classes.

Academy for Global Exploration Hi Casey, check out the "AGE at a Glance" sheet under Notes. It has a list of our graduation requirements and these are most of the classes we offer. It is generally the standard high school curriculum with the addition of our required Cultural Studies class.

Johnny LaRosa hi i am very interesting in applying for the spring semester in japan. Is it ok just to come for one semester. I am a freshman and just want to go for the Japan semester and see if i like it. I am a major athlete it there workout facilaitys there?? Thank you

Casey Mullarkey I was wondering, what are all of the classes that you offer for students?

Academy for Global Exploration
Hi Cec,
We take 12 students each semester and the boy/girl ratio is always different but is usually about 50/50. Students that attend for a single semster have no problems transitioning back to their home school. AGE is fully accredited and we work with your home school to be sure that everything is smooth. All of the teachers and students travel together so you will be with people 24/7 but that said there is down time and the opportunity to explore on your own some. Yes, we do offer some APs but that is done on an individual basis so we would have to coordinate this ahead of time. Thanks for the questions Cec.

Cecily Choi
I'm seriously contemplating applying for next school year as a junior but I have a couple of questions:
1) How many people get accepted and what is the guy to girl ratio?
2) How is the integration of school at home and AGE if someone was only to apply for one semester?
3) What is the supervision like?
4) Is it possible to take AP's during the trip?
Thanks,
Cecily Choi

Academy for Global Exploration Absolutely! Most of our students attend for one year. So starting in the fall you would begin with mostly a whole new group of AGE students. We do have some students that attend for a single semester or even as little as a quarter. Great question Casey.

Casey Mullarkey Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to apply to AGE even if it is only for one year.

Academy for Global Exploration Hi Bailey, yes we do have three scholarships available. The criteria is different for each but we have one for leadership, one for video or photo and one academic. Email scholarship@agexplore.org for the detailed information.

Academy for Global Exploration We are still accepting applications for spring semester! We leave for seven weeks of skiing/snowboarding and cultural exchange in Japan on January 30th! The application is available on our website.

Leslee Anne Trotter I love that you kept all the old videos! I can't find the video I made :( do you know if Ammen has it?

Academy for Global Exploration Academy for Global Exploration will be traveling to NEW ZEALAND for the fall semester 2008 and to JAPAN for the spring semester 2009. Please visit http://agexplore.org/ for more information and country specific highlights.

Lizzy hey greg, are you not on facebook as a person? thats kinda sad... I just wanted to tell you what a small world it is. I was sitting next to a girl on an airplane to budapest on friday and we got to talking. I told her about AGE, and she said that sounded familiar. Apparently she has met you! you applied at her school program a few years back. This world shrinks everyday, more the reason for AGE to get out there and explore!!!
