President Bashar al Assad inaugurated the South Central Area's gas plant and the first stage of the Arab Gas Line project in Homs.
Mr. President toured the various sections of the project. then held a meeting with head of the Syrian-Russian Higher Committee, Russian Minister of Communication Igor Schegolev.

Mrs. Asma al Assad attended the ceremony of completing the first phase of the rehabilitation project for al-Nayrab Camp in Aleppo.
This phase was dedicated for building new residential units at Ein Attal Camp where 300 Palestinian families with 1500 members have moved in, which helped reduce dense population at al-Nayrab camp.

President Bashar al Assad held a Ramadan Iftar banquet in honor of dustmen who are distinguished in performing their national duty in Syria.

later, HE exchanged cordial speeches with dustmen and listened to their problems and burdens, calling them to continue their distinguished work to be an example followed by the rest of workers.
أقام السيد الرئيس بشار الأسد مأدبة إفطار لعمال النظافة في سورية المتميزين في أداء واجبهم الوطني.
وأعرب عن تقديره الكبير لعمال النظافة لتفانيهم في أداء عملهم وللدور الأساسي الذي يقومون به في المجتمع عبر المحافظة على الوجه الحضاري لوطننا والعمل ليل نهار للحفاظ على نظافته مؤكداً سيادته أن النظافة مقياس لرقي الأمم وحضارتها.
