This book was such a turning point in our lives. It brought us to AANE and finally a chance for our 20-yr-old daughter with Aspergers. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I encourage everyone to read this book. It introduced us to our daughter's world!

I've heard so many good things about this book. I hope Santa brings it for me. If not, I'll have to go out and get my own copy after Xmas.

Something about that title is rubbing me the wrong way...it feels a little like it's implying that we constantly live in a fantasy world and are complete freaks to the real world. Seems kind of irrational of me to think so, so I'm probably overreacting.

It's a very nice article, but Ruth Levine Arnold misquotes Tony Attwood. It was not Tony Attwood who stated, “When you've seen one person with AS—you’ve seen one person with AS.” That was Dr. Stephen M. Shore, as quoted on the "What is Asperger Syndrome?" page of the AANE website.
