****Important Information For Immediate Release**** North American Lapidary Artist Joy Houghton of Stonefire Studios (http://stonefirestudios.com) has graciously offered to put one of her amazingly beautiful works of lapidary (gem) art up for charitable adoption. With s...o many of our fellow citizens experiencing severe financial hardships this is a beautiful selfless act that should be commended. Joy has asked me through my Laboratory North American Lapidary Laboratory to handle this for her under the following conditions. The Gemstone: The gemstone she has donated for this cause is a beautiful hand carved one of a kind Garnet bead (no mounting required) weighing 21.99 carats. This gemstone pendant sculpture is a piece that can easily be worn by either a woman or man it is truly a unisex piece. This beautiful gemstone originates from Tanzania and has not been treated (enhanced) on any level. The only change to this gemstone from its raw rough form has been Joy’s expert carving. This is for the gemstone only (the chain pictured is not included). This gemstone will come with its full laboratory grading report (pictured here) and a full narrative appraisal provided by North American Lapidary Laboratory the recognized experts on gem art. The Donation: The socially conscious individual will be putting up $2,000.00 USD. This money per Joy’s request will be donated to a food bank to help feed the needy. You as the “Donor” will be able to pick the food bank so it can help people in need within your area. You will be able to do this donation via certified check or visa or mastercard. The funds will be taken in by North American Lapidary Laboratory and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the food bank in your and Joy’s name. The food bank you choose must be a legitimate charity with a copy of their not for profit status. This is your chance to not only help others in need but to also own an amazing one of a kind piece of lapidary art. Not only will it look beautiful on you or your significant other but every time you wear it you will know that this piece represents your kindness and compassion for your fellow man. We ask for your assistance. Per Joy’s request she wants the donation for this piece to be handled by December 31st 2009. If you are in need of a last minute holiday gift now is the time to not only put a smile on somebody’s face but to also help put food on others in need plates.
