David C. Barrow Elementary Media Center I would love to introduce to our Barrow community Alora Rose Plemmons. Born December 19, 2009 at 9:46 AM. She weighed 7lbs 3 oz. She has already been enjoying many great stories, and I can't wait to continue sharing them with her.

David C. Barrow Elementary Media Center Several families & students have been asking if students need to turn in all their library books before winter break. The answer is no :-) If your child has very late books, then those should be turned in, but you and your child are welcome to check out books to read during the winter break.
David C. Barrow Elementary Media Center I am happy to announce that I have recieved another grant for our media center. This grant is from the Foundation for Excellence. The grant will fund a book club for readers who aren't quite finding the books they enjoy in our media center. These students will be the first to read and review the books that they purch...ase before they become available to all the students at Barrow!
David C. Barrow Elementary Media Center We would love some help with checkout & shelving between 8:30 & 10:00 and/or from 2:00-2:30 on Monday if you are free.

Barrow Holiday Market after school -December 17: Polar Express Day -Late December: Battle of the Books kickoff We would also like to display items representing different cultures... and celebrations in December. If you have something to share, just send it in.
