Athletes for a Cure, a program of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, is a fundraising and awareness program to assist individual athletes in their quest to raise money for better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

Yes, I understand that, but getting into an event like NYC Marathon is alot harder as an average Joe than it is if a charity like Prostate Cancer Foundation would work with the race to get a certain number of entries alloted to them.

Kevin T. Satler I just discovered Athetes for a Cure and want to set up a bi-athlon,swimming and running, at Monmouth College. I can get access to the athletic center and volunteers to help run it. If anyone has experience setting up an event to raise money for Atheltes for a Cure and could give me some advise on how to do it, I would apprieciate it.
