With A Down Home Affair, Living Room celebrates another year of success in helping hundreds of Atlanta’s homeless and at-risk families and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. This gala is our principal fundraising event for 2009 and promises to be an evening of elegance and sophistication where fine dining and entertainm...ent can be enjoyed while supporting a very deserving cause.
Staged at the enchanting Imperial Ballroom of The Biltmore in downtown Atlanta, the gala will be hosted by WCLK 91.9 FM radio personality Nicole Sweeney and will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine, a three-course dinner of contemporary southern cuisine and a highly anticipated performance by local jazz vocalist Trei. Our gala will be especially exciting this year as we honor the retirement of our Executive Director Nick Danna who has dedicated more than twenty years of service to the HIV/AIDS community and acted as the head of our agency for ten years. So come celebrate with us and witness the torch of leadership be passed from one bright star to the next. You won't want to miss it!
Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite at http://adownhomeaffair.eventbrite.com or by mailing checks to Living Room, Attn: Fundraising Gala, 341 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30308. Reservations must be received no later than October 5, 2009.
