- Atlantis was born in 1972 on a boat in Boston Harbor. It was revived in 2007 in our new World HQ on the top floor of the boatyard in Marblehead. The view is so good that we can just about see Boston Harbor from here.

Atlantis WeatherGear I don't whether Newport or Annapolis is the "sailing capital of the world" but last weekend, the Melges 24 Worlds, IRC East Coasts, J-24 East Coasts, I-420 ACCs, J-105 Chesapeake Bay Champs, a college regatta and other random Opti and 420 stuff were all going on in Annapolis. That's a lot of yacht racing in one place!
