Vicki Buchanan Some universities have legacy tuition programs which allow out-of-state students whose parents went to Auburn a chance to attend at a rate which is lower than the usual out-of-state tuition. Does Auburn have such a program?.

Joseph Bellos I made a mistake on my application. Will I be able to change it? Also, I did not take the writing portion of the act. Will that affect anything? I am a freshman currently attending a community college

Is'cah Lajoy Willis Hi! I plan to enroll in Auburn University as a transfer student in January '10. I am interested in learning more information regarding conditional admission due to my current enrollment at Walden University. What are the steps that I must take and what should I expect out of this process? Thanks!

Hi, I'm wondering about housing for National Merit Finalists. As a current Semifinalist, I was just accepted to Auburn, but I'm not sure if I go ahead and apply for housing and then wait to see if I become a Finalist? If NMF are placed into the Honors college, will I go into an Honors dorm? In the meantime, what do I p...ut for my first choice? Also, do I have to apply for a scholarship, or will it be awarded to me automatically if I become a Finalist? Thanks!Read More

Auburn University Admissions Sara continued, Because your daughter would have automatic admission into the Honors College, she would be allowed to reside in the Honors Dorms located in the Quad and Village. My daughter is seriously looking at attending Auburn Fall of 2010. She is so serious that I went ahead and paid the tuition and housing deposits to ensure on-campus housing. My concern is if she is named a NMF how can she be assured to have on-campus housing all four years as this is part of the NMF scholarship? I have... heard that housing is tight, even with the new buildings and am concerned as this will weigh heavily on her final decision in the spring. Thank you.Read More
