The star on top of the Mission’s new online Christmas Wish Tree is up for auction on Trade Me. The winning bidder will get to place the star on top of the Christmas Wish Tree at http://www.christmaswishtree.com on Christmas Eve, with their name, the name of their company or the name of someone they love on it. They can also add a Christmas wish to the star for everyone to enjoy. The money raised from the auction will go to the Auckland City Mission’s Christmas Appeal.

If you're in Botany, the annual Santa’s SOUPOPERA Charity Concert will be held on Thursday, 20 November in Botany Town Centre. It’s a Christmas variety concert culminating in the illumination of the Town Centre Christmas lights. The concert is free and shoppers are encouraged to bring along a tin of their favourite food. It will be a fun and festive night, topped off with a Singing Santa. The festivities start at 6:30pm.
All proceeds from the event, including donated cans of food, will go to the Auckland City Mission.
Santa is in need of a little help this year and we’re asking local businesses to sign up to be a Santa’s Little Helper. Santa’s Little Helpers collect presents, food and/or money for the Mission’s Christmas Appeal...
