Help celebrate the holiday season! Local artist Leo Limón will be on hand all day to help guide our creative spirits.. Learn how to make papel picado (cut paper) banners as well as wreaths and garlands using materials from our natural environment. Refreshments will be served. We will have a bake sale to benefit our su...mmer day camp program.
¡Venga y celebre con nosotros las fiestas de Navidad y fin de año! Leo Limón, artista local, estará con nosotros todo el día para guiar nuestros espíritus creativos. Aprenda cómo hacer banderitas de papel picado, así como coronas y guirnaldas navideñas con materiales naturales. Se servirán refrescos. Audubon Center at Debs Park Today, Arroyo Seco Green Team members, parents and students from Academia Semillas del Pueblo, Academia Avance, Buchanan Street Elementary, and Arroyo Seco Musuem Science Magnet School planted 87 native plants in degraded coastal sage scrub habitat. Here at Debs Park, we increased the number of kids we serve in school programs by 100%, youth program participation increased by 330%, and family program attendance was up by 80%...thanks to all of you who helped us make it happen!
