Alan Michael Wong Aura Cacia Aromatherapy is #1. Frankincense is my favorite!

Amber Denney Marshall I wonder if anyone can help me with this... we are having a really bad problem with fleas this summer, in the yard, on our dog, and in our house. We've tried everything from spraying the yard, flea bathes, sprays, collars, etc, and nothing has worked. Is there a formula to put together that will work in the yard, house, or on pets to get rid of these things? I've used essential oils for ants and mosquitos, but can't seem to find anything available for this issue. Any help will be appreciated! :)

An aromatherapy scalp massage does more than just condition your hair — it also provides a wonderfully relaxing experience. Mix 2 tablespoons of warmed base oil (sweet almond, avocado or jojoba) with 5 drops of essential oil...

I'll probably have some by noon if it's available at the one store here that carries Aura Cacia, The Vitamin Shoppe. I am totally impressed with Aura Cacia since discovering their Patchouli/Sweet Orange body cream.
Now the question - sweet almond or jojoba? I love BOTH fragrances! The products are ALL so wonderfully fragrant and work perfectly - I have been 100% pleased!

Nancy Polatty I've been using essential oils for, wow, 20 years now, and I love this brand. Really good stuff. I give my older pug a lavender oil massage each night, and it does help her arthritis. Wouldn't be without it.

Ann Dupont I recently discovered Aura Cacia's Patchouli/Sweet Orange Body Cream at The Vitamin Shoppe and I am hooked! This is undoubtedly the most luxurious cream I've ever used and the fragrance is extraordinary. I'm happily sharing this new discovery with my friends.

Hi there, quick question. I bought the relaxation blend the other day for my child who has a terrible time calming down at night, can this blend be used on a 3 year old. I have used oils on them for quite sometime but am always looking for one to help him rest. Please let me know, thanks...

Robin at 8:49am June 8
I have one of those myself (a hyper non-calming 4 year old @ bedtime) after bathing him I take a few drops of mandarin eo and blend in the palm of my hand with some carrier oil like jojoba oil..and massage on his tummy, bottoms of his feet, or upper back! it works like a charm. Some people use lavender and/or chamomile. I have a stubborn toddler so... Read More, he does better with mandarin. I have tried lavender and chamomile with no luck. I also make a spray using vodka, spring water, and mandarin eo and sometimes mist his pillow or place a cotton ball with a few drops of mandarin on it for inhalation therapy. let me know if this helps!!

There is also Pillow Potion which does wonders for my kids.

I recently have been researching making my own home cleaning products. Many of the “recipes” I find include the use of essential oils. Do essential oils have disinfectant capabilities? Essential oils have been used in cleaning products for a long time...

Robin at 8:45am June 8
I like to use sweet orange in vodka, lavender can be used, lemon makes an awesome cleaner as well as lime! Most people use lemon or orange or blend them for an awesome mix!

I recenly bought two of your orange scented baby products from Whole Foods. They each had a coupon attached which when I checked had expired in December, 2008. There were no “use by” dates on the bottles and I am wondering if these are still fresh and safe to use on my granddaughter...

essential oils have a shelf life of one to two years.I'm not sure about the products you have, try the product on the inside of your wrist. Wait 24 hrs. if no irritation occurs it should be safe to use, but when in doubt throw it out!

Robin I make all my products using their essential oils! They are the BEST! www.organcbathworks.artfire.com I also offer custom formulations of lotions, sugar scrubs, and custom bar soaps :)

Yolanda Mayse Been a fan of Aura Cacia for years and I have the eo's to prove it

I am just learning about essential oils. I use lavender and tea tree oil at the moment but would like to expand my experience with different essence. What would be a good starter kit for me? There is so much to learn that I am feeling overwhelmed by it all...

I am allergic to lavender can you tell me what other oil I can use in its place? There are several oils that are used for their calming and relaxing effects, and are excellent ’substitutes’ for lavender...

Julie Heideman i love the Lemon I have artist in my left knee and it's the only thing I have found that works........

Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax rather than a fatty oil and is similar to the skin’s own sebum. It forms a very thin, non-greasy protective layer upon application that rapidly penetrates the skin (without blocking pores), making it useful in nourishing formulas—but not by itself for massage...

All of our precious oils are between 3-7% dilution in jojoba oil, depending on the oil. For proprietary reasons, we don’t give out the exact percentage but at these percentages, they are diluted for direct application. Find out more and shop our Precious Essential oils her

I am a licensed massage therapist and need to acquire some CEUs for my re-registration. Do you have any certified aromatherapy courses I could take online, or in person in the Houston area?
Aura Cacia Aromatherapy at 11:31pm May 7
Hi Margaret,
We don't offer a certified course. You could try checking with the AIA, a national group of aromatherapists that promotes classes for health
practitioners. Their website is www.alliance-aromatherapis ts.org. You could also try NAHA, www. naha.org, another aromatherapy organization which promotes classes.
