Wells Knows About the Internet!
Someday we'll give our website a makeover (seriously!). In the meantime, to help us all stay in touch, we've started a BLOG!
Wells alums make us glow a bit with pride—at the thought of their accomplishments and their well-reasoned humanity. The College is also humbled and honored by her alums’ generosity and largeness of spirit.
If you feel like it's the right time to help sustain the Wells experience, you can give a gift online. We know it’s an uncertain economic environment, and we’re especially grateful for all that you continue to do on behalf of Wells.

Kelly Carlisle
Help me help others!
I am walking the Avon Walk for Funds in May to raise money for breast cancer research and to help low income breast cancer patients get the treatment they need. I am walking in honor of Rose Hill '99, who passed away last year. I have raised over $900 but need to raise twice that to do the walk. I'd like to raise even more! These are difficult economic times for all of us, especially those with serious illnesses.
PLease help me honor a very special friend and alumna! Every dollar helps. Visit my site or email me for snail mail donations: http://tinyurl.com/kellycarlisle, kikicarlisle@gmail.com

I am so excited to share information about my new book, The Parent-Child Book Club: Connecting With Your Kids Through Reading (co-authors Melissa Stoller & Marcy Winkler, HorizonLine Publishing LLC, February 2009).
This book is a comprehensive resource presenting easy-to-follow, practical ideas for organizing and conducting a parent-child book club for children ages 4-9. Significantly, our book includes 20 fully-tested “Book Club Model Guides” that offer everything busy parents need to run successful meetings. Through reading and discussing books, and engaging in related enrichment activities, families will foster meaningful connections to last a lifetime.
Visit www.parentchildbookclub.com for more information. The book is available for sale through the website, and on Amazon.com, BN.com, and Borders.com.
