The WLT is expanding its monthly happy hours to give members in the Houston area a chance to meet and get to know each other.

Cafe Express is on the lower level of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts' Audrey Beck Building, at the corner of Main and Binz (Bissonette turns into Binz). A planter box with hanging greens and and... a small Cafe Express sign mark the external stairs leading to the restaurant. Free parking is available in the museum lot near the First Presbyterian Church.

On Thursday, admission to the museum is free, so we invite our guests to visit the museum before or after the happy hour.

Oh no! Predators and Editors is being sued! They’re a long-time online resource for writers navigating the murky waters of the publishing business. On a completely separate note, I’m leaving the Writers’ League for new adventures. Wish me luck!
