Axis of Conversation
Just so you know, we're 100% back in action once again. Our first project is the Beatles Cover Show @ The Marquee Room Dec 12. We've been working pretty hard on some rad covers, and it's gonna be...rad. We'd love to see you there, and so would the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank. Admission is a food-bank donation. The lin...k to the Fbook invite is on our Wall, and it's also here:

We have some other cool stuff coming down the pipe, including a show (with our own songs!) at The Palomino on Dec 19...
...AND the long-awaited release of the 'All We Make Is Enemies' 7" Tour EP across Canada. You can find it (or order it) in your favourite record store NOW. Keep vinyl alive!
Or...if you'd rather not keep vinyl alive...you can find it as a download on iTunes and a bunch of other online music sites in the next two weeks. Promise.
Merry Christmas from Axis of Conversation.
xoxoxo.

Axis of Conversation
These days, the members of Axis of Conversation are busy playing in other bands (Matt in This City Defects), having babies (Gerry, Shelly...not with each other) or getting married (Eric, Cheryl...to each other).
Meanwhile, CdT is about to be alone onstage for the first time since May 10, 2006. Expect some AxiCon rein...terpretations, a whole bunch of songs you haven't heard before, and an extra-sweaty brow.
CdT will be opening for two FANTASTIC bands from abroad: The Ghost Is Dancing of Toronto, and Rubik of Finland.
CdT's First Solo Show Since '06 + Bands That Have Already Proven Themselves
Time:9:05PM Friday, October 2nd
Location:The Palomino

Axis of Conversation
Here's a video of the band in action since it might be a little while until you can see us for real again. It's two songs live at Broken City this past February for the annual Red Cross benefit -- the first and only time George W. Bush made it into our set.
Enjoy.

Axis of Conversation While most of the band is busy having babies, playing in other bands, or marrying each other, CdT is playing his first solo show in nearly four years on October 2 at The Palomino! Expect to hear a load of new songs and a few AxiCon reinterpretations.

Axis of Conversation has been building up steam for a few years now as one of Calgary’s best emerging acts. Every publication in the city, including this one, tapped them as early as 2006 to be one ...
