Following the success of last year's weekend away we're doing it all over again!
It's a great chance just to relax and have fun - no event to run, no activities to lead etc.
There will be things on offer to do, but no timetable as such - we'll arrive Friday evening, on Saturday afternoon we'll walk to the local pub for ...lunch and leave late morning on Sunday.
The cost is just £50 for the weekend (you'd need to buy your lunch on the Saturday but it's pub grub so reasonably priced).

Everyone is welcome to come along to a prayer service at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Wickford. The prayer and music of the Taizé community is unique and a very still, and prayerful experience.
If you're not travelling with us to Taizé it's an opportunity to see a little of what we'll experience whilst we're there a...nd to support and wish us well on our journey.
And for those of us that are going, its a chance to prepare ourselves, and meet the other people we'll be travelling with!

For June's second Sunday we'll be soaking up drama, entertainment, and hopefully sunshine (!) at the Globe Theatre, London.
We're going to see Shakespeare's Macbeth, which even if you've never seen any Shakespeare before is a great one to start with as it's full of action, twists, murder... See more here: www.shakespea...res-globe.org/theatre/annualtheatreseaso
I'll be booking tickets for the Yard area of the theatre - which is the standing area so these are only £5. Please let me know by Friday 21st May if you would like me to book you one of these tickets. Email clare@bcys.net
The play begins at 1pm so the plan is to meet outside the theatre at 12.30 where we can meet and all go in together.
This should be a really great day to do something a bit different, look forward to seeing you there!

We beginat 2pm with Massat Westminster Cathedral, with Archbishop Vincent Nichols, followed by a Rally where we will 'Stand Up' for young people in the UK, and an after-party extending into the evening.
