BGC Day for Kids

Information

Website:
Company Overview:
In the U.S. it seems there’s a day for just about everyone: Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, Grandparents’ Day. There’s even a day for groundhogs. But there’s one important group recognized: Our nation’s young people. Some might ask why a day for kids is important.

Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids was created as part of a national campaign to galvanize the country around the importance and impact of spending meaningful time with kids all year.

Mission:
Our goals are to:

1. establish a nationally recognized day to bring caring adults and communities together in support of children;
2. educate adults on the importance of meaningful time with kids and engage them via opportunities and resources; and
3. raise dollars and resources to support meaningful time and positive relationships that benefit America’s youth.

Products:
Day for Kids encourages everyone to take the time to make a commitment to our nation’s youth. Though Day for Kids only takes place for on one day in September, the message is meant to resonate throughout the year. Influencing a young person’s life can help mold and groom them into caring, responsible citizens for a brighter future for all of us.
