Vicki Ann Laird Rourke-Rooney I think people, especially your fans, want to hear your views on their comments. Constructive negative criticism IMLTHO should be responded to as, of course positivee critiques should be responded to as well. Snarky comments should be avoided.
Cheers,
VRR

Baba Studio I'm never sure of the etiquette of leaping on to blogs and commenting on what they've said about our work. It seems almost like saying, "'Smine and I know what it's meant to mean," and actually, I don't think that the author IS always the best interpreter of their own work.

But I would have loved to say "Google Dr Caligari"! on this one. :)

Karen Mahony says of this card: This card can be read in the Bohemain Gothic version, as being less about juggling tasks and more about accumulating possessions (or more rarely skills). It differs from ...

Baba Studio Oh! We can now put our Etsy shop directly on to the tabs here. Wonderful stuff.

You need to look for Etsy shop in applications. Then you add that application, then it tells you what to do from there.

Sweet! :-) Will have to check this feature out. Was wondering when I came and saw the tab. Does it allow you to post more than one shop's worth?

Baba Studio Both the new shipments are now listed at Amazon.co.uk.
I hope this is useful for British customers, who will now get Amazon free shipment on these items. It's taken us a while to set this all up and really understand how it works - but now it seems to be popular and it does solve the Christmas shipment times to the UK with all the postal strikes etc. Good stuff!

Thanks Anton. I saw that. Thank goodness.

The silver lining is that it kicked me into getting all this stuff shipped to Amazon. Probably no bad thing as they can do the kind of last-minute UK orders that we can't guarantee.

Baba Studio Another interesting blog mention. It's always great to see the context in which our work is shown. This one is a good, lively fashion blog.

Baba Studio Phew! Seems like the shipment to Amazon.uk has arrived and is being listed. One or two pictures are missing so a bit of frantic editing on this end. But basically, if you're in the UK and want one of the sling pouches with Amazon free shipping - you're in luck!

Thanks for the info. That's interesting... (and a little strange). Somehow legislation meant to protect people very often ends up negatively impacting artists.

I know. It's really a bit bizarre. Especially as I doubt real money launderers would do it via Amazon selling!

Baba Studio A discussion of the Devil card in our Bohemian Gothic Tarot. This is one of the most discussed cards in the deck and it's true, it's a harsh image.

Baba Studio The new Bohemian Cats pictures are gradually taking shape. I think they will be ready early next year, all being well. They are more bizarre - and also more extravagant - than anything we've done to date.

Hi Anne. No plans as yet I'm afraid. We do hope to reprint - probably in the spring. But nothing is certain until all these currency shifts settle down a bit.

Baba Studio I can't remember if I've already posted this one - I have a feeling I haven't. We did very few of the sling pouches in lavender and now I'm beginning to regret it. I know it's not the most useful of colours, but it just looks so extravagant.

Fabulous little gems in mouth-watering prints and silks. Affordable enough to collect, pretty yet practical, you'll want to take one of these everywhere you go.
