Lots of our footballers, current and ex-players, not to mention managers like Martin O'Neill, Alex McLeish and Graham Taylor have been involved in supporting our bid. As you can see on our website www.backthebirminghambid.com just two days ago Cyrille Regis, football legend and adopted Brummie went along with Jasper Carrott to give a send off to ... See Morethe local kids from Hodge Hill School who were selected to present the bid at Wembley. Today was about the kids and about the future of football in the city, about the legacy that the World Cup will bring, which is a key part of the bid. We’re delighted with the support we’ve had from everyone!
