BackStage Pass from WKAR We've gotten an inquiry about our upcoming December 17th Christmas show. As those of you who attended shows this past Spring know, we asked each group to perform one holiday/Christmas selection as part of their set list. The December 17th program is a compilation of those performances. So, no live concert in December.... We'll begin our 3rd season of concerts starting in April 2010. -TZ

We'd provide a list of songs performed in Season 2 and you, the BSP fans would tell us which ones you'd like to see and hear in the special. What do you think of this ide...a? Revue is a very new monthly publication focusing on entertainment in mid and west Michigan. The November issue is out, so pick up a free copy when you see it, and keep an eye out in December for the BackStage Pass feature. - TZ

BackStage Pass from WKAR I spent a little time talking with our staging and lighting guru Ken Merley as he was assembling some new truss and lights for a jazz music pilot we're taping next week. Our BackStage Pass "mothership" (the main projection screen and lighting grid) will look a little different come next Spring. See the changes for your...self as we start Season 3 concert production April 13 & 14, 2010.

BackStage Pass from WKAR Looking at our proposed production schedule for 2010, we realized that we had a performance taping scheduled for June 30. No big deal- except that is also the day U2 comes to the MSU campus. So rather than ask our audience to battle 75,000 U2 fans tailgating around our building, we'll be moving that concert to another day... - TZ
