Despite a car that got progressively slower over the weekend, we were able to squeak out our third Eastern Regional Open Class Championship! Work continues on T-4 our 2003 Subaru WRX STi. She's a mutt and about to get a bit more love.
Engine had to come out as we had some oil ending up in the headers. It looks to be a valve stem seal, so we'll replace all as well as do some other preventative maintenance while we're in there.
Damn cold working in the shop h...ere in Maine! We have a heater, but it only takes the chill off. The tire machine is in the un-heated part of the barn, so I really don't like to spend too much time in there! When I can't feel my fingers, it's time to come in for some hot chocolate. ;-)
Snow expected tomorrow and the Team O'Neil rally is coming quickly. Just over 5 weeks away. With the engine on the stand and lots of work to do, it's really not that much time. Always less time than you think it is.
