Since that new cell phone law came out, i have seen people still talking on thier phones. What part of IT IS ILLEGAL to talk on your phone do you not get? And the law with no smoking with kids in the car? What part of that law do you not get? Are you stupid? Illiterate? Or do you want to have to pay a fine of $25...0.00 per child? Maybe you have the money, maybe you don't care that you are murdering your children. You should be charged with premeditated murder. maybe people would care if there was a great big blitz on people doing that (using cell phones or smoking with kids) and maybe raise the amount of the fine......but that won't happen. by the way, does that law apply to police using there CB radios or truckers ?...just wondering

I heard a really sad thing today on the rock95 cheap seats with al brown. A family who has been putting up a nativity scene in thier yards for years upon years are suddenly not allowed to due to minorities, they are not allowed, i don't understand this is our canada, our schools, we can't even say the lords prayer any...more due to the minorities. When is this going to stop, if the minorities want to come here and make a new life for themselves, please respect the fact we have our beliefs and we respect the fact you have yours. The nativity scene has been a yard item for centuries, do not come here and tell us we are not allowed to do this, it is our custom. if you can not respect our customs and our beliefs, well sorry to say the airplanes, boats or border crossings have two entrances in and out. it is sad when we can't do what we have done for years, like the lords prayer in class. yet people who come from other countries can keep practicing all the moral or in some cases immoral and religous beleifs.....some days i am just left speechless over some of the complaints these idiots have

you don't have to get your kids vaccinated for anything.. there is a form you can print off the internet from one of the Canadian government websites get it signed from a notary at your local city hall...

I'm curious on knowing if are kids are even safe to go to school with this whole H1N1 virus...Im worried that they will be exposed to it and get really sick.. and for the clinincs well they should have been more prepared the wait times are crazy... and people out there that have children or bad health issues its hard t...o wait in line for hours at a time!!!! Carley I just saw your story about the hands free cell phone law. I think that the media in general, not just A Channel, has missed the boat on this one. There wasn't nearly enough coverage on this. The only reason I knew about this before today & before your 11:00 Story... was because my cell phone company sent me an email about it!... and that was only a few days ago. Where was the media coverage on this new law?

Gary i ride the Barrie Transit every day...we have the H1N1flu virus scare going on...why do the buses not carry the hand sanitizers....if you at the A channel read this would you please investigate and report on this...

yes and maybe it would help with all the clinics being overbooked and another thing that would help is people should go to dollarrama and buy those little hand sanitizers and when they get on the bus and when they get off the bus use it, because not everyone washes their hands after smoiking, going to the washrooms and the most piggish thing i have... Maybe the mayor shgould take the money they spend on brand new laptops and spend it one the people of this city. We pay taxes, use the tax money to keep our city and people well.
