Glenn Lipsker What a great venue it was growing up ! Who could forget 'The Incredible Mr. Limpett' with Don Knotts, and, of course, the 'Flubbber' movies with Fred MacMurray - don't forget the Good N Plenties !

Jeff Retzlaff Yep. Saturday afternoon matinees for 35 cents!

Patty Trude Bersano Growing up in Barrington it was the only place to see a movie. Many fond memories with family and friends came from watching movies at the Catlow Theater!

Trinette DiGangi You will be missed Uncle Jim.

Louise Bellamy Richardson So far from what I have read here - most of the postings are coming from much younger fans than my self. I remember going to the Catlow every Saturday at a cost of 25 cents and 10 cents for pop corn. That was in grade school (Hugh Street) and junior high (still Hugh street). After starting High School it cost 50 cents.... We also went every Saunday in thoes days. There was always a cartoon before the feature and once or twice a year there was nothing but cartoons - wow were we all excited about that. Television wasn't very big at the time. The Mickey Mouse club was a real big hit when we were in Junior High. Movies at the Catlow was our entertainment!

Wilona Memories... remembering the painted beams in the ceiling. Saw alot of movies there growing up and stopping @ Baskin Robbins. Living in Montana now and we have a few old movie houses that make me think of The Catlow.

Melissa Welch Childers I drive there from Algonquin for the "The BEST CARAMEL CORN" and reasonable movie ticket prices!

Sonja Carlsen Gordon We love this place..great to get sammies @ Bolonies and then head into the theater..prices are reasonable and nice and clean environment (no sticky floors).
