They pick plans from private companies, like BlueCross and Mailhandlers, and pay more for it than people working for corporations. Why don't you ask your relatives how Medicare and TriCare work for them? They couldn't get that kind of premium or benefits anywhere else.

I applaud your efforts on environmental issues. I too wish you would reconsider your vote on health care reform. There are too many Tennesseans counting on you for help for you to turn your back on them.

That's great, now do the right thing on the health care bill, all Tennesseans need to really keep up with how our politicians are voting on these important issues. It's time we start to take control of who we put in office and that needs to be the ones that are looking out for the needs of their voters.

Thank you, Rep. Gordon, for taking a stand and voting for what is right for the people. Thank you for listening to the people of Tennessee. You definitely have my vote and I have spoken with many people who will do the same. As for myself, there is no longer a D or an R by my name. I will vote for who is looking out for Americans. I am all for real health care reform, not just another Medicare or TennCare, and this particular bill does not get the job done.

Rep Gordon, we've been supporters for a very long time, from back when Franklin was part of your district. I can't tell you how crushed I am that you will not support a public option for healthcare. Thousands of Tennesseans in your district are crushed by health care costs that they cannot afford, are denied coverage for pre-existing conditions, ... See Moreor forced to choose expensive high-deductible plans at work. A public option will give them a chance to be well without losing their savings, all at lower cost than the profiteering insurance companies. I worry that this decision may have cost you your base and ultimately your seat.

Bart Gordon I am pleased the VA has decided to expand its operation in Rutherford County. The center is expected to create
more than 300 good-paying secure jobs for local residents.

because of people like me. I use the VA but because Im not "service connected disabled" I have to pay a copay, which is only fair. For those vets that were disabled because of their military service, their care is free, which is also only fair.

If you do the economic math, public option cannot sustain itself. Second, the first thing that happens in a government run program, and take it from someone that is part of one, is rationing and cutbacks on service. If you don't think it can happen to you, then you had better wake up.

Please vote NO on Healthcare! Facts provided by the president are wrong and misleading. This plan raises cost to all Americans and other dems want even accept the coverage it provides as proven by the vote on the House Ways & Means Committee, which voted to defeat an amendment offered by Rep. Dean Heller (R-NV) – by a vote of 21-18 – to require all members of Congress to get insurance through the government-run plan.
