Dear friends,
where does the time go? Another year whizzes by and it's time to celebrate the 2nd birthday of the Cellar Bar since we reopened in 2007. Since then we have won the CAMRA Pub of the Season award Winter 2007 and we continue to serve Black Sheep, Copper Dragon and an ever changing guest cask ale, along with ...Ciders and lager beers.
To celebrate our first 2 years in Batley we would like to invite you to join us next Friday, 16th October from 7pm till late. We will be serving cask ales in top condition and there will be a buffet and a free jukebox topped up with motown sounds!
Thank you for all your support in the last two years, we look forward to seeing you there!

Our sister bar The West Riding on Dewsbury train station is once again planning a charity event to support one of our favourite causes. World Aids Day continues to promote awareness of th...is illness and raise funds to support those who are ill. This year the West will be hosting a music event, 2pm - 12 on Saturday 5th December inviting local bands to play a slot or half slot for free as their contribution. We will have an outside bar with 2 real ales plus a cider and a lager. Ale Day Breakfasts will be available as usual. 10 pence from the sale of every pint and every meal will go direct to charity. Any band who is interested in performing at this event should call Lisa on 01924 459193 or email lisa1westriding@googlemail.com as soon as possible.
