THE BATTLE FOR MANHATTAN is an athletic competition between the East and West side of New York. The event will consist of a series of sports and recreational activities that promote the goodwill and spirit of New York City and celebrate its different communities.

You must live or work in Manhattan to participate in this event

* Everyone living or working East of 5th Avenue can play on the East Side Teams.

Mission:
The Battle of Manhattan will:

* Give New Yorkers an opportunity to play sports and promote healthy rivalry
* Raise funds and awareness for Urban Dove and its support for local NYC Public Schools
* Promote community and different neighborhoods in the City
* Increase goodwill
* Create an annual event that is accessible to everybody
