Denise Emmons-Pearson WINTER WOLVES
Winter Wolves Special Program
Saturday January 23, 2010
1 pm to 5 pm $7 adults, $5 kids 6-13, kids 5 and under and members are free

Join us for a chilling day of fun at Wolf Park featuring the wolves
in their glorious winter coats! We have packed the day with fun
activities such as games, updates on the wolves ...in the wild, and much
more. For the children we will also have an art-work contest, and a
simple but amusing explanation of how animals adapt to their
surroundings— why don’t wolves need winter coats like we do?

Warm drinks will be on hand, so folks can warm up between
activities. January is a great time to see the wolves as they love the
cold, and tend to be up and active all day long, unlike those long hot
summer afternoons they spend napping.

Wolf Park This is Amarok, he came from a sanctuary that was closing (North American Predatory Animal Center, Doyle, California) in the mid 1970's. He is the grandfather of Chinook. He is the beginnings of the black coloration.
