Bayard Rustin

Each time you have the opportunity to share who he was is a beautiful one.

My daughter attends Bayard Rustin High School in West Chester, PA where he once lived. The school is only 4 years old and just celebrated their 2nd graduating class in 2009. There are a number of plaques and framed photos of him throughout the school which is comprised of predominantly middle-class and affluent white students. I think it's great that America, particularly this district in Pennsylvania has recognized him in this high regard by naming a school in his honor.
