Be Your Own Hero food not bombs is serving tomorrow SUNDAY at 1pm at the corner of 5th and Wooster. come eat some food and find out how to get involved. tell ur friends!! anyone have a portable table we can us? also we need containers, bowls, cups, utensils. etc!!

Be Your Own Hero Be Your Own Hero is a part of the Holiday Art Show @ the PARALELLOGRAM next month. We will be working on collaborative art pieces in the next few weeks. If anyone would like to be a part of this project, please LET ME KNOW. We will be in the studio every night this week.
Michael The Global Day of Climate Action is taking place this Saturday, October 24 in downtown Wilmington. With over 4,548 actions taking place in 174 countries, Wilmington is proud to be a part of this global movement for climate change solutions. Come join UNCW's Environmental Concerns Organization in their Turning the Tide ...Event from 5-10pm on Water Street at Riverfront Park. This is a FREE family friendly event with live music, speakers, arts and crafts, local green businesses, and an action table where you can write letters to legislators. Following the event, there will be a candle lit procession to the Soapbox for an after party. For more information, please visit www.350.org and search for Wilmington's event. Hope to see you there!

Join us this Wednesday night (10/21), 7pm at 718 S 5th St (5th and Wooster). This is the new permanent home of Food Not Bombs. We now have a full kitchen at our disposal! If you've never worked with Food Not Bombs before, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved!
On the agenda:
- Doing FNB weekly as opposed to mo...nthly
- Changing the serving day from Sunday to another day
- Roles people are interested in taking
- Community outreach
- Anything else you want to bring to the table!

It's not a FLEA Market... it's a FREE MARKET! Really? Really Free Market!!
bring what you don't want, take what you need! The Really Really Free Market (RRFM) is a community event where we can get to know each other by sharing our material goods, skills, smarts, resources, etc.
ATTENTION:
if you have items that can be ...beneficial to the Be Yr Own Hero housing collective (name of building to be determined), please drop them off. We are looking for things to start our garden so any type of garden tools, seeds, wood, containers, etc.
BIKE DROP OFF! if you have bikes, bike parts or bike tools that you are looking to get rid of you can drop them off at the RRFM. Also, if you know how to fix up bikes and would be willing to teach some people at the RRFM, please feel free.
CLEAN UP
we will also be cleaning up the space during the RRFM, so if you have shovels, wheelbarrows, gloves, brooms, etc please bring those as well.
If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can make Wilmington's RRFM better, please let us know.
