DJ Storm is recognized by all and sundry within the Drum & Bass world as the 1st lady of Drum & Bass music and one of the most highly ...respected DJs on the scene. The Djing career of Kemistry(Her Partner) & Storm had progressed gradually over the years. Sadly, Kemistry was tragically lost. But what was a surprise to all of us was her ability to carry on after such a tragedy and become an irreplaceable DJ in the D&B scene.

By the mid 90s MC RAGE had made a reputable name for himself within the UK Drum & Bass scene. Paul Crossman a.k.a General Midi has always managed to master a more ‘level crunching, dub flavoured and bass fuelled musical ride’ than his peers and it is this that has earned him his fast growing reputation as the source of a great night out.
Support across the board from the likes of BBC Radio 1s ZANE LOWE (insert ...Zane quote), ANNIE NIGHTINGALE and FERGIE plus support from practically every breaks DJ under the sun (The Plump Dj’s described the Midiman as ‘Way ahead of his time’).
Now signed to the legendary DISTINCTIVE RECORDS (home to Hybrid, Ills, Way Out West, Ali B and the Y4K breaks series) it was a fitting testament to breakbeat’s coming of age when General Midi dropped their killer debut disc, ‘Midi Style’ in late 2005. A rolling mix of breakbeat styles, it takes in a wide range of tempos and tastes, from midtempo funk to furious filthy riddims. “It’s very varied cos I didn’t want a collection of club tracks – if you want that then get yourself a mix CD!” grins Paul.
Over the last few years General Midi numerous productions have appeared on a multitude of the best labels in dance including singles on TCR & Kilowatt with remixes on labels such as Warners, V2, East West, Hope, & Hooj to name but a few.
Pioneering break beat tracks such as The Westoner, Entertainer, House Of Funk, and Never Gona Stop The Show have earned Midi the unofficial title of “the producer’s producer”.
f0 His tunes are to be found in an array of Film TV & Game releases and he was pretty chuffed when ¡®Good To Go¡¯ was chosen as the theme to The MTV reality show ¡®The Real World¡¯ currently on heavy rotation on the MTV worldwide network. This year is starting of with the release of Midi¡¯s debut DJ Mix compilation album as the next instalment on the successful Y4K series on home label DISTINCTIVE. General Midi，作为当代最重要的Breakbeat音乐人之一，是超级舞曲厂牌Distinctive Records（旗下囊括了Hybrid、Way Out West、Ali B等超级明星）的元老级人物，本名Paul Crossman的他刚一踏入圈中，便取得了极高的声望和尊重。他推出的一系列经典舞曲作品，如The Westoner、Entertainer、House Of Funk、Never Gonna Stop The Show等等，都充分地奠定了他在圈内的领袖地位，并使他获得了“制作人中的制作人”这样的雅号。
