this saturday we got our Beijing old friend Sebastian coming from Australia to THE BOAT to grace our decks. If you were a regular at the infamous Club 88, Club Vogue back in 1999 era, you know you had witnessed the birth of Electronic dance music/club culture in Bei...jing! He will be playing thumping Techno/Electro-tech along with THE BOAT's very own @llen to Beijing die-hard clubbers.

Forging a production career Sebastian's first release, 'Dub City EP' through Kisu Music Germany, reached a very respectable #7 in the German Club Charts. Dub City was charted by DJs all over t...he world, from Australia to China, Russia to Europe. He has also recently completed a remix of Little Nobody's classic 'Cocaine Speaking', and is putting the finishing touches on his second EP for Kisu.
Coming from the 'journey' school of DJing, Sebastian is a believer in the idea that behind every great performance is a transferal of energy between the crowd and the DJ. He likes to play a number of styles in one set - not pronounced like Laurent Garnier or big tune like Pete Tong - in a subtle way melding the hypnotic side of techno, minimal and tech house.
This style was formed when Sebastian was resident at two of Beijing's most infamous clubs playing five hour sets, warming up or finishing for all manner of guest DJs and always playing to a international crowd with different tastes.
Most recently Sebastian is based in Sydney Australia where he is a resident DJ at the 'Lost Baggage' techno parties, playing with the like of Layo & Bushwacker, Ewan Pearson, Dusty Kid and Jooris Voorn. He also performs live with his studio parnter Biz, they recently warmed up for Sevn Vath at Home nightclub while he toured Australia.
