My take on smartasses is: At least they (ok, we) are people who enter a war of wits fully armed and dangerous (not to mention hilarious). But that's too immodest(?) to just come out and say. So: rephrased... If you aren't a smartass - you are in a war of wit and totally unarmed - go home. I have two brilliant, hila...rious, gorgeous, smartass kids (yep, bragging shamelessly) and they alone support my intellect theory.
