NICVA The new look NICVA website is now live at http://www.nicva.org We hope we've made it more accessible and easier to use - let us us know what you think.

This session is an introduction to legacy fundraising particuarly aimed at those who have never used this fundraising technique.
NICVA has been facilitating a Will to Give campaign which is aiming to improve awareness of giving to charity in peoples' wills. The session will look at local research on legacy giving, what ...a legacy is, considering how and when to communicate with potential donors and how to get your message out that you can receive a gift in this way.
NICVA's Neil Irwin will lead a half-day session looking at how charities can begin to consider using legacy fundraising as part of their fundraising mix.

How did you handle the last time you had to deal with a difficult person? Are you still thinking about it? Worried this might happen again? Is there such a thing as a difficult person?
Conflict is a fact of life, its natural, even normal. This programme will look at what difficult behaviour is and help us identify what ...makes us and our colleagues difficult. Participants will be given a tool to use that will help them deal more assertively with the difficult person (if that person exists) and find solutions that will help us change difficult behaviour.
