Logan County Solid Waste District We just returned from the Cherokee Run Landfill where an Open House is taking place to acknowledge an evironmental milestone here in Logan County. They are turning some of the trash that comes into the landfill into electricity! How cool is that? They are generating enough gas-to-energy to serve 4,800 homes! Interested? Logan County Solid Waste District Thank you Logan County for a very successful CHaRM season! We provided services to over 840 cars and collected thousands of pounds of hard to recycle materials for proper dispoal. We will see you in the spring!

Logan County Solid Waste District Today is the last day of the season for CHaRM, the Center for Hard to Recycle Materials. This will be our 48th and final opportunity this year to bring in TVs, electronics, old paint, used oil, scrap tires, mercury containing items. We close until Earth Day 2010.
