Maryellen Troiano Mastricova I love the Jersey Shore. I always wanted to live at the Shore and finally made it down here 5 years ago. I started out in Brick which is beautiful and now I live in the Atlantic Highlands, a few minutes from Sandy Hook. There is a fantastic overlook from which you can see all of New York City, the Empire State Buildin...g and many others. Also, from here you can look over Sandy Hook, on a clear night the view of the city is wonderful, all the twinkling lights!! From here I have access to the Ocean, which I love, and also the farmlands and wooded areas, which are great for hiking, another of my favorite activities. The Monmouth and Ocean parks are fantastic every one of them offer something different to enjoy. I have so many wonderful memories of vacations at the shore and now many wonderful memories of the last 5 years actually living here.
Fiona I spent every summer in Belmar.... from the moment school ended until about a week before school started. What a great childhood I had. Live in California now (right on the beach) and one of my neighbors happens to have spent every summer in Belmar, as well. He lived 2 streets over. What a small world we live in. ...We both take vacations back there ofter. It is not a proper summer until you are riding down the GSP to the Jersey Shore.
